Our story
Idrologica’s future is based on healthy roots, coming from the history of Agricultural consortium of Ravenna and Cofra Plants.
Agricultural Consortium of Ravenna
The 24<sup>th</sup> June 1989, in the wake of a deep renovation in the agricultural capitalism, also Ravenna constitutes an agricultural consortium. It was not a coincidence that the godfathers of the new institute were some of the most well know personalities in Ravenna’s society.
It was a spring day, at the end of the century, and in the presence of notary Romanini and Rasi, were reunited some of the most important personalities of the city; the counts Pasolino Pasolini and Carlo Rasponi, just to name few, but also Pio and Terzo Stanghellini, Romolo Conti, Claudio Rasi and Giuseppe Erani.
The purpose of this new society has been clearly underlined in the certificate of incorporation: “buying and selling of agriculture materials”.
Cofra Plants
Cofra was born in 1973 (as special branch of Cofra cooperative society) with the purpose of offering irrigation service for agriculture , industry, parks and gardens’ sector. Later, Cofra plants became the symbol of water’s saving, with a view to environment’s respect.
Meanwhile, Cofra’s interest has been extended to drainage plants, anti-frost and anti hail systems.
In the last 20 years we specialized in fertilization and irrigation becoming leader of this sector and allowing a further improvement the production’s quality and offering a system able to safeguard the environment.
